Meaning: If… then, In light of ~(news or situation)…
Used when speaker makes certain assumption, for example based on another person’s remarks or appearance. ….is the speaker expressing judgement or intent, or trying to induce another person to an action.
Formation:

Example sentences:
- その箱、もう使わないんですか。使わないなら私にください。
- Sono hako, mō tsukawanai ndesu ka. Tsukawanainara watashi ni kudasai.
