Meaning: whether or not; regardless of;
It is used to express that something is to emphasis so for the time being don’t think of other.
Formation:
動普通形＋の＋はともかく（として）
イ形い＋の＋はともかく（として）
ナ形だーな＋の＋はともかく（として）
名(助詞)・ 名だーなの＋はともかく（として）
Example sentences:
- 漢字は書くことはともかく、読むことは大変だ。
- Kanji wa kaku koto wa tomokaku, yomu koto wa taihenda.
- Regardless how is my kanji writing, but reading is terrible.
