JLPT N4 GRAMMAR:～すぎます(~Sugimasu)

Meaning: exceed, too much (……अधिक /ज्यादा करना या होना)
～すぎます indicates that the degree of an action or a state is excessive. Therefore it is usually used with reference to undesirable states. It is classified as a group II verb and therefore conjugates in the same way.
Formation:
動詞ます形・い―形容詞（い）・なー形容詞（な）＋すぎます / すぎる。
Verb ます Form+ いーadjective（い） / なーadjective（な） + すぎます / すぎる。
Example sentences:
- 昨夜お酒を飲みすぎました。
- Sakuya o sake o nomi sugimashita.
- Last night I drank too much.
- मैंने कल रात बहुत अधिक शराब पी थी।
- このセーターは大きすぎます。
- Kono sētā wa ōki sugimasu.
- This Sweater is too large (for me)
- यह स्वेटर ज्यादा बड़ा है।
- 最近の車は操作が簡単すぎて、運転が 面白くないです
- Saikin no kuruma wa sōsa ga kantan sugite, unten ga omoshirokunaidesu.
- The handling of recent cars is so easy that driving them is not so enjoyable.
- आधुनिक कारें संचालित करने में बहुत आसान हैं की इसे ड्राइव करने में मज़ेदार नहीं हैं।
- いくら好きでも飲みすぎると体に悪いです。
- Ikura sukide mo nomi sugiru to karadaniwaruidesu.
- No matter how much you like, drinking too much is bad for health.
- चाहे आप इसे कितना भी पसंद करें, बहुत ज्यादा शराब पीना सेहत के लिए बुरा है।
