Meaning: and; and what’s more (….और….और…, ……..इत्यादी इत्यादी के कारण)
This form is used to join sentences. It is also used to state reasons or causes when there are more than one cause or reason.
Formation:
動詞辞書形(Verb Dictionary form)＋し
Example sentences:
- ワット先生は熱心だし、真面目だし、経験もあります。
- Watto sensei wa nesshindashi, majimedashi, keiken mo arimasu.
- Professor Watt is earnest and diligent and has experience also.
- श्री वाट उत्साही है, प्रामाणिक है और अनुभवी भा हैं।
- 駅から近いし、車でも来られるし、この店はとても便利です。
- Eki kara chikaishi, kurumade mo ko rarerushi, kono mise wa totemo benridesu.
- This shop is very convenient, as it’s near the station and you can also come here by car
- यह स्टेशन के करीब है, आप कार से भी आ सकते हैं, इसलिए यह दुकान बहुत सुविधाजनक है।
- 「息子に英語を教えていただけませんか。」「…うーん、出張もあるし、もすぐ日本語の試験もあるし…」
- Musuko ni eigo o oshiete itadakemasen ka.’`… U ̄ n, shutchō mo arushi, mo sugu nihongo no shiken mo arushi…’
- ”Can you teach English to my son?” ”Sorry, I often go on business trips and soon Japanese exam is there.”

- 色もきれいだし、この靴を買います。
- Iro mo kireidashi, kono kutsu o kaimasu.
- Because the color is also beautiful, I will buy this pair of shoes.
- रंग भी सुंदर है और इसलिए मैं इन जूतों को खरीदूंगा।
