JLPT N5 GRAMMAR: ～から

Meaning: due to, because (…..के कारण, ….इसलिए, क्योंकी)

から connects two sentences together to denote a casual relationship in which one of the sentence is reason for other. It is a casual expression, highlights causes and reasons subjectively. It is considered as polite expression when making request for the sake of the listener.

Example sentences:

時間がありませんから、新聞を読みません。
Jikan ga arimasenkara, shinbun o yomimasen.
I don’t read newspapers because I don’t have time.
मेरे पास समय नहीं है इसकारण मैं अखबार नहीं पढ़ता

「毎朝新聞を読みますか。」「…いええ、読みません。朝いつも忙しいですから。」
`Maiasashinbun o yomimasu ka.’`… Ie e, yomimasen. Asa itsumoisogashīdesukara.’
“Do you read newspapers every morning?” “… No, I don’t. I’m always busy in the morning.”
“क्या आप हर सुबह अखबार पढ़ते हैं?” “नहीं, मैं नहीं पढ़ता। मैं सुबह हमेशा व्यस्त रहता हूं इसलिए।”

「どうして、タクシーで行きますか。」「時間がありませんから。」
`Dōshite, takushī de ikimasu ka.’`Jikan ga arimasenkara.’
“Why do you take a taxi?” “because I don’t have time.”
“आप टैक्सीसे क्यों जाते हैं?” “क्योंकी मेरे पास समय नहीं है।”

危ないから、機械に触らないでください。
Abunaikara, kikai ni sawaranaide kudasai.
Do not touch the machine as it is dangerous.
मशीन को मत छुओ क्योंकि यह खतरनाक है।
