1. Past tense of noun sentences and なー adjective sentences. Past tense of noun and なー adjective are made by adding でした in the end as follows.

2. Past tense of いーadjectives sentences. Past tense of いーadjective is made by replacing ーい with ーかった from the adjective.

3. ます is used when a sentence is a habitual thing or a truth. It is also used when a sentence expresses a thing that will occur in the future. The negative form and the forms in the past tense are shown in the below table. (ますー>ました & ませんー>ませんでした。)
