JLPT N5 GRAMMAR: を Particle
Meaning:を is used to indicate direct object of a transitive verb.
Note:を and お are pronounced the same. を is used only in writing the particle.
Formation: N +を+V (Transitive)
Examples:
- 「お酒を飲みますか。」「…いええ、飲みません。ジュースを飲みます。」
- `O sake o nomimasu ka.’`… Ie e, nomimasen. Jūsu o nomimasu.’
- “Do you drink?” “… No, I don’t. I drink juice.”
- “क्या आप ड्रींक लेते हो?” “… नहीं, मैं नहीं पीता हूं। मैं जूस पीता हूं।”
- 毎朝、パンと卵を食べます。
- Maiasa, pan to tamago o tabemasu.
- I eat bread and eggs every morning.
- मैं रोज सुबह रोटी और अंडे खाता हूं।
- 明日、日本語を勉強します。
- Ashita, nihongo o benkyō shimasu.
- I will study Japanese tomorrow.
- मैं कल जापानी का अध्ययन करूंगा।
- 昨日の晩テレビを見ました。
- Kinō no ban terebi o mimashita.
- I watched TV last night.
- कल रात मैंने टीवी देखा।
- デパートで雑誌とCDを買いました。
- Depāto de zasshi to CD o kaimashita.
- I bought magazine and CD at a department store.
- मैंने डिपार्टमेंट स्टोर से पत्रिका और सीडी खरीदी।
The particle を is used to denote the place where a person or a thing passes .
- 公園を散歩します。
- I take a walk in the park
- Kōen o sanpo shimasu.
- मै पार्क में टहलता हु।
- 道を渡ります。
- Michi o watarimasu.
- I will cross the road.
- मै सड़क पार करुंगा।
- 交差点を右へ曲がります。
- Kōsaten o migi e magarimasu.
- I will turn to right at the intersection.
- मै चौराहे पर दाईं ओर मुङुंगा।
