Meaning: the more… the more …… (अगर …. करु तो …. उतना ही …. बढता /घटता है)
ほど means to the extent, about . When it is used with 条件形（～ば・～なら), It expresses that the degree described in the latter part of the sentence increases / decreases with the change of the degree described in the former.
Formation:
条件形＋動詞辞書形・イ―形容詞・なー形容詞な＋ほど
Conditional form +Verb dictionary form / イ -adjective / な-adjective + ほど
Example sentences:
- ビートルズの音楽は聞けば聞くほど好きになります。
- Bītoruzu no ongaku wa kikebakikuhodo suki ni narimasu.
- The more I listen the music of Beatels, the more I like it.
- मैं जितना बीटल्स संगीत सुनता हूं, मुझे उतना ही अच्छा लगता है।
- パソコンは操作が簡単なら簡単なほどいいです。
- Pasokon wa sōsa ga kantan’nara kantan’na hodo īdesu.
- The easier the operation, the better the computer.
- कंप्यूटर को संचालित करना जितना आसान है, उतना ही बेहतर है।
- 外国語はだれでも、練習すればするほど上手になる。
