Meaning：

  1. and (~और~). The particle connect two nouns in coordinate relation
  2. with (~के साथ)（ Also when you do something with a person (or an animal), the person (or an animal) is marked with the particle と ).
  3. Like this, this, that (~ऐेसा, ~यह)
  4. If, when (अगर, ….. ऐसा करेंगे तो, …)

Formation: N1とN2, 辞書形(Dictionary form)＋と

Example sentences:

  1. and (~और~). The particle connect two nouns in coordinate relation
  • 銀行の休みは土曜日と日曜日です。
  • Ginkō no yasumi wa doyōbi to nichiyōbidesu.
  • The bank is closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
  • शनिवार और रविवार को बैंक की छुट्टियां होती हैं।
  • 家族と日本へ来ました。
  • Kazoku to Nihon e kimashita.
  • I came to Japan with my family.
  • मैं अपने परिवार के साथ जापान आया था।

2. with (~के साथ)（ Also when you do something with a person (or an animal), the person (or an animal) is marked with the particle と ).

  • 「だれと京都へ行きましたか。」「…友達と行きました。」
  • `Dare to Kyōto e ikimashita ka.’`… Tomodachi to ikimashita.’
  • “With whom did you go to Kyoto?” “… I went with a friend.”
  • “तु़म क्योटो कीसके साथ गये हो ?” “… मैं एक दोस्त के साथ गया हू।”

3. Like this, this, that (~ऐेसा, ~यह)

  • あの漢字は何と読むんですか。
  • Ano kanji wa nanto yomu ndesu ka.
  • How do you read that kanji?
  • आप उस कांजी को कैसे पढ़ते हैं?
  • あそこに「止まれ」と書いてあります。
  • Asoko ni `tomare’ to kaite arimasu.
  • “Tomare” is written over there
  • वहाँ पर “तोमारे” एैसा लिखा है।

4. If, when (अगर, ….. ऐसा करेंगे तो, …)

  • このボタンを押すとお釣りがでます。
  • Kono botanwoosu to otsuri ga demasu.
  • Press this button and the change will come out.
  • आप इस बटन को दबावोगे तो छुट्टे पैसे निकल आयेंगे।
  • これを回すと、音が大きく なります。
  • Kore o mawasu to,-on ga ōkiku narimasu.
  • Turn this and the volume will increase.
  • इसे घुमानेसेआवाज तेज होगी।
  • 右へ 曲がると 郵便局 が あります。
  • Migi e magaru to yūbinkyoku ga arimasu.
  • Turn to rignt and you will find post office.
  • दाएं मुड़ेंगे तो पोस्ट ऑफिस मिलेगा।
