Meaning：This (near to speaker)/that (away from speaker but near to listener) / that (away from speaker and listener). ( यह~, वह~, वो~)
It is used with noun to indicate the possession of the thing
Formation: この・その・あの+Noun
- この本は私のです。
- Kono hon wa watashi nodesu.
- This book is mine.
- यह किताब मेरी है।
Examples:
- このノートはカリナさんのですか。
- Kono nōto wa karinasan nodesu ka.
- Is this Carina’s note?
- क्या यह नोट कैरिना कि है?
- その傘はだれのですか。
- Sono kasa wa dare nodesu ka.
- Whose umbrella is that?
- वह छाता किसका है?
- あの人はだれですか。
- Ano hito wa daredesu ka.
- Who is that man?
- वो आदमी कौन है।
